Originally from the UK, Hillary moved to Asia in 1986, initially to Hong Kong as MD of an International Property Consultancy, and one of the first to launch Phuket as a lifestyle investment in the late 80’s. Having relocated to the Philippines, Hillary returned to Hong Kong in 1997 to establish the renowned event management company DDK, managing major social and charitable events, global strategic meetings and conferences,’wow factor’ social events and memorable weddings.

Maria has lived in Stockholm, New York, London, Sri Lanka, the South of France and in Spain but it was in Phuket she finally found her paradise.
She used to work in Investment Banking in Stockholm, New York and London and whilst in New York she spent the summers organizing parties in The Hamptons, Long Island. Her professionalism and previous experiences help to ensure that no detail is left out and all your dreams are fulfilled.
Peter moved to Phuket in 1999 after 20 years travelling around the world as a private chef for businessmen, tycoons and celebrities cooking in their various villas and on their yachts. His appreciation of Thai cuisine together with his love for the island convinced him to stay and pursue his passion for cooking.
Since 2006 he has worked full time with Maria arranging weddings and specializes in talking to clients and the catering team to ensure that Phuket Weddings and Events offer the finest culinary experience on the island.
